Fearless Trust!
Psalm 27

Proverbs 29:25 Fear brings a snare, but he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted.

What is Fear?
The Presumption and Threat of Loss! 

•  Job's Fears – The Loss of wealth, children and health

 Job 3:25 "For what I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me.

•  The Disciple's Fear - The Loss of Life

Mark 4:38 And He Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"

•  The Unfaithful Steward's Fear - Failure

Matthew 25:24 And the one also who had received the one talent came up and said, "Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you scattered no seed."

How Did David Face His Fears?

1.  Know God! Know Who He Is In Your Life!

Acts 13:36 "For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, and was laid among his fathers and underwent decay;

David's Call – 1 Samuel 16:1-13

Acts 13:22 After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ' I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do all My will.'

2.  Recall Past Victories! Psalm 118:5-12
3.  Seek The Presence of God First! Luke 11:9-13

Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

4.  Focus Your Direction and Trust Upon the Lord!
