1. Possess An Obvious Legacy! Verse 5-7

•  A Legacy of Righteousness!

Romans 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? "ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS." NASU

Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

•  A Legacy of Blamelessness!

The Walk! Ephesians 4:17-5:4

The Requirement of God! Micah 6:6-8

•  Not Sacrifice!

•  Do Justice!

•  Love Kindness (Grace)

•  Walk Humbly with Your God!

2. Possess A Certain Future!

Zacharias Is Given A Word? A word for His posterity!

•  A Long Forgotten Prayer Answered! Verse 13

•  A Medically Impossible Birth Promised! Verse 13

•  A Son of the Kingdom! Verse 14-17

Matthew 11:11 "Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist! Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

And Like John!

1. We are to be a Blessing!

John 5:33 "You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth. 34 "But the testimony which I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved. 35 "He was the lamp that was burning and was shining and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.

1. We are to be Great in the Sight of God!

Matthew 5:19 "Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

1. We are to Find our Total Dependency on the Spirit! Nothing Else!

Ephesians 5:1 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not get drunk with wine , for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

Ministries That. . .

•  Turn People Back to the Lord their God! (Hearts touched!)

•  Turn Hearts of Children and Fathers Back Toward One another! (Families Touched)

Malachi 4:6 "He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse."

•  Turn Disobedient to the Attitude of the Righteous!

(Attitudes Changed!)

•  Prepare People for the Lord! (People Prepared!)

John 3:22-36

•  John Knew What God's Purposes Were For His Life!

•  John Knew His Place!

•  John Knew His Lord!

Become A Remarkable Family of God's Kingdom!
