Good News - Great Joy - For All People!

Born For You - A Savior - He is Messiah the Lord!

Why Did Jesus Come?

1 John 3:1-10

1. He Came to Make You His Child! John 3:1-16

1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

2. He Came to Take Away Our Sins!

Matthew 1:21 "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."

Titus 2:14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

Romans 11:26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION , HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." 27 "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

1 Peter 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

3. He Came to Destroy the Works of the Devil!

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman,

And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head,

And you shall bruise him on the heel."

Mark 1:24 saying, " What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are — the Holy One of God!" NASU

Luke 10:18 And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. NASU

John 12:31 " Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. NASU

Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Colossians 2:15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.

Hebrews 2:14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

4. He Came to Do the Will of His Father! John 12:27-32

Hebrews 10:5 Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,

"SACRIFICE AND OFFERING YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED, BUT A BODY YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME; 6 IN WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND sacrifices FOR SIN YOU HAVE TAKEN NO PLEASURE. 7 "THEN I SAID, 'BEHOLD, I HAVE COME (IN THE SCROLL OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN OF ME)

TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.'"
