Submit to God's Discipline! Hebrews 12:4-13 3. Believe In the Resurrection Power of God! 4. Press On To Know Him! • Deal Appropriately With Sin and Things that Hinder You! Hebrews 12:1-2 • Run With A Specific Aim! 1 Corinthians 9:26-27 Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; 27 but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. • Look Ahead and Not Behind! Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. |
