Strength From the Shepherd! Genesis 49:22-28

Joseph's Dad Said of His Son,
Genesis 49:23 "The archers bitterly attacked him, And shot at him and harassed him; 24 But his bow remained firm, And his arms were agile, from the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),

• From the Shepherd of Israel!
• From the Stone of Israel!

Recognize, Believe, And Confess that Your Victory is From God!

Paul said this way: Romans 8:33-39

The Stone of Israel Empowers You To Be Victorious! 1 Peter 2:4

1. The Stone Is Jesus Christ! 1 Peter 2:4

1 Corinthians 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.

Confess Him As Lord! Matthew 16:13-19 –

2. You Are Stones, Being Built Up As A Spiritual House! (5)

Isaiah 51:1 Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, Who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn And to the quarry from which you were dug.

Hear and Obey His Word! Matthew 7:24-27 –

3. You Are Stones Being Built Up to Offer Spiritual Sacrifices! (6)

Deuteronomy 32:3-4 "For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe greatness to our God! 4 "The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.

Psalm 95:1 Praise to the LORD, and Warning against Unbelief. O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.

Romans 10:8-13 – Believe in the Stone of Israel!

Romans 12:1-8 – Offer Your Life As A Living Sacrifice! Employ Your Gift!

Matthew 21:33-46 – Fall Prostrate on the Stone and Be Broken!

Psalm 118:22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone. 23 This is the LORD'S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
