Philippians 3:16

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the LORD.

1 John 2:11-13

• Little children – Your Sins are forgiven!
• Children, You know the Father!
• Young Men – Overcome the evil one! They are strong and the word of God abides in you!
• Fathers – Know not just the Father! They know all the aspects of God and His Work!

1 Peter 2:1 Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, 2 like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, 3 if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

Ephesians 4:14 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; 15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Genesis 45:8 "Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt .
How Do We Grow Up in Christ? Philippians 3:7-16

Philippians 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; 16 however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.

1. Value Knowing Christ Above Everything Else!  

Revelation 2:4 But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place — unless you repent.

Romans 1:18-26 – Always Honor God! Always Praise Him!

2. Always Move On! (Forget What Lies Behind, Move on to What Lies Ahead!)

3. Be Faithful To What God Has Already Entrusted To You!
