No Greater Joy!

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.

I. The Truth

•  Jesus - John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

•  God's Word – John 17:17 " Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

•  God's Spirit – John 16:13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth ; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.

II. What Does Walking in the Truth Look Like? Galatians 5:16-23

A Life Living Consistently by Christ, His Word and His Spirit!

III. How Do We Move Our Children In this Kind of Lifestyle?

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise), 3 SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH. 4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

•  Make Sure You Are Honoring Your Own Father and Mother!

•  Avoid Provocation to Anger!

•  Raise them Up In the Discipline and Instruction of the Lord!

Leaving a Wonderful Heritage!
