The Great Plans of God!

Jeremiah 29:11-14

1. What are God's Plans for you?

•  A Great Ending! (Future and a Hope)

Resurrection! 2 Corinthians 4:7-15 – Our Future and Hope!

Righteousness! 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Christlikeness! 1 Peter 5:10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 11 To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.

•  Plans For Absolute Peace! (Welfare)

Romans 8:35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Acts 12:1-18 – Peter's Sleeping!

Psalms 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety.

Psalms 3:3 O Lord, how my adversaries have increased!

Many are rising up against me. 2 Many are saying of my soul,

"There is no deliverance for him in God." Selah. 3 But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. 4 I was crying to the Lord with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah. 5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me.

Proverbs 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

2. God's Plans are Accomplished through Closeness With God!

Luke 10:38-42 – Martha and Mary!

Isaiah 30:15 For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength." But you were not willing,

Psalms 46:10 " Be Still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

3. Closeness With God Demands Total Focus!

Jeremiah 29:13 'You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

1 Corinthians 2:9 but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN , ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM." 10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
